English as a Second LanguageCONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH / ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) MINISTRY throughout the Greater Boston Baptist Association click here for a "pdf" printable page of the available classes For the last ten years with Boston International Ministries we have led several churches and ministries to begin intentional ministries with the world at our door using English classes, ESL classes or tutoring for speakers of other languages. Internationals visiting or new to Greater Boston express two great needs: friendship and language. Thus, we have encouraged our churches, church plants and campus ministries to start English classes to serve their community and meet these needs. Below are a few examples of classes that are available throughout the week, usually meeting during the calendar school year. Most classes are free as a ministry of our local churches. Please contact those below for more information about registering, attending a class or visiting to learn how to start your own classes.
