Below is a listing of some of the sessions that will be offered at this year’s Super Saturday.

David Francis, Director of Sunday School, Small Groups, Discipleship,
Lifeway Christian Resources, Nashville, TN, will be sharing the research
found in a new resource, Transformational Church written by Ed Stetzer
and Thom Rainer. This session will focus on the discoveries from the
massive, comprehensive research project conducted by LifeWay Research
to discover the characteristics that were seeing transformed lives,
church and community. Time will be integrated for small groups to
discuss some of the transformational elements of the transformational
church and how that might look for your local body of believers.
David Francis was one of many associates who conducted
personal interviews with transformational church pastors.
You won’t want to miss this session and the opportunity
to ask questions that relate to our context here in New England.

Influencing Leaders to Action

Have you done prayer walking, prayer rallies and prayer days? Have people seemed to have lost interest and not been connecting to these prayer opportunities? Join a frank discussion of this widespread problem and let’s learn together some new ways to keep this line of communication with God open and unhindered. Designed to Teach: Setting Up a Preschool Classroom This conference is designed to focus on guidelines for setting up a preschool classroom. Topics covered will include: Consider the age group for each room. Use age-appropriate equipment and resources. Establish room safety and security guidelines. Make Bible teaching a priority. Emphasize reaching preschoolers and their families. (Janiss Fowler, Preschool/Children’s Specialist, Baptist Convention of New England, White Oak Baptist Church, Wallingford, CT) There’s An App For That: Dealing with Unruly, Disconnected and Disinterested Kids This session is designed to help teachers of teenagers to reach every student with the Gospel message of Christ and to suggest methods of teacher response and discipline that will encourage future learning. (Jessica Green, Youth Specialist, Timothy Baptist Church, Roxbury, MA) Starting a Singles Ministry Come and join other leaders looking to begin a Single’s Ministry and why this is an important ministry to consider. This session will seek to create a great network of churches that are active in this ministry and work to create a sharing together mentality. (Mike Beckner, Pastor, Hope Baptist Church, Dennis, MA) Disaster Relief: A Community Ministry Disaster Relief is a great opportunity for the local church to really become part of the fabric of your community.
